Join the Hall Family and Action Sports Foundation for our 3rd Annual Childrens Home Beach Day for the Kids at Lake Seminole in beautiful Pinellas County, Florida. For the third year running, the kids and staff of The Childrens Home
will be treated to another wet and wild day of watersports fun with
local volunteer kiteboarders, wakeboarders, and paddle boarders. This is the most anticipated event of the year by both the kids and staff of The Childrens Home, and equally as much fun for ASF and its army of volunteers! The smiles keep getting bigger and bigger each year, and this years event is sure to be bigger and better than the last!
The primary focus of these events is to introduce these fine children to the fun and healthy lifestyle of water based action sports, and this year we'll be adding even more sports into the event schedule! We have changed the location of this year's event from Ft. Desoto Park to Lake Seminole Park, in order to offer more variety to our programs, which will includes the use of boats and jet skis to introduce the kids (and staff!) to tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, and more.
This event is focused on the kids, but also treats the hard working, dedicated staff to a day of fun, relaxation, and fantastic food prepared by our volunteer chefs. Without their efforts for these kids on a daily basis none of this would be possible, so this the ASF way to say "Thanks!" to the staff of The Childrens Home.
Many of our volunteers are professional athletes, so the kids can expect a high-flying, action packed exhibition by ASF Featured Athletes, along with many tips and tricks during the hands on clinics.
There will also be plenty of Stand Up Paddleboarding going on, in which some of the the kids have already been learning at past events, so we can expect some intense racing during the team relay races. Pro SUP'er, Chase Kosterlitz of Water Monkey Paddleboarding, will be leading the SUP clinics and racing, with support from other local area paddlers.
The group will also be treated to our standard fare of beach games, egg tosses, slip 'n slides, and a few other hidden surprises for the kids!
The volunteers meeting for this event will be held on ____ at ____. We will also be hosting a volunteer appreciation party after the event to honor the hard work of our volunteers.
Volunteers- please register on the ASF website, so that we may begin logging volunteer hours to show our service to the community.
If you would like to make a tax-deductable contribution towards this event, you may do so directly through the ASF website, or through our Causes Page on Facebook located at:

The event will wrap up around 5:00 P.M., and the volunteers are encouraged to stick around for dinner and sunset sessions behind the boats and jet skis.
Thanks everyone, and we look forward to seeing you ALL at the lake!
