Action Sports Foundation is a relatively new organization, but has been built for rapid growth and expansion across the United States through our growing network of athletes and associations. Overall, ASF has been a 4-year effort just to get to the starting line- now we're ready to kick it into high gear!

Being a multi-sport, multi-purpose organization, we have assembled a wide variety of people to work together in addressing a variety of community and environmental issues. This team effort promotes goodwill among sportsmen, encourages crossover athletes, and expands opportunities and resources for everyone.

We are already getting busy planning and executing our 2010 gameplan, which includes:

- Continue building community partnerships with similar organizations and demonstrating the willingness of action sports athletes to work with others to address common concerns, goals, and interests. This includes increasing membership and participation in partner organization events and activities, and collaborative efforts to create new venues and events.

-Introducing ASF to the action sports community through an estimated 6 events in the 2010 season, which includes at least 2 watersports events, 2 public service events, and several safety clinics.

- Further development and expansion of ASF Adaptive Sports and training programs. ASF is working closely with JAHVAH Adaptive Sports to make several new watersport programs available to veterans and challenged athletes. Wakeboarding and Standup Paddle clinics begin SOON!

-Continue developing Kite4Life as a resource to the sport of kiteboarding. The Kite4Life mission is help bring kiters and local associations the tools they need to steer their sport in the right direction. As ASF itself is founded by kiters, we are fully committed to helping kitesurfers preserve access, open up new venues for kiteboarding, and assist in creating smarter, safer kite surfers. - Develop and create online education courses and down-loadable training materials to assist sport instructors and organizations. ASF is using today's open-source tools to connect and create a collaborative work environment for instructors and coaches to create better and safer training programs.

- Expand the ASF programs throughout the USA with assistance from partner organizations.
